A new friend has surprised us with one of his favorite childhood memories: a comic book starring you-know-who. Published in 1947 by True Comics, it is a pretty faithful rendering of our hero, with a welcome nod to Harry the Man, as opposed to the Performer.

You collectors out there - we're off our usual turf here - would you like to see more? Our research bloodhounds have found a live trail and it could make for some fun summer reading. We don't know about you, but we learned to read from the comics and still get great pleasure out of them.
Meanwhile, we're still ready to go with the Battle of the Magicians, Houdini v. Robert-Houdin, Pinetti vs. deGrisy. Coming up.
