Yesterday was my father's 97th birthday and we were partying so hard that, for the first time in my life, I missed an editorial deadline. That's him with my mother, who's 91. They're still going strong, still crazy about each other, still driving, going to the theater and generally putting the lie to the canard that when you're old you're through. In fact, it gets better. (Just a few minor aches & pains....)
Anyway, the next edition of The Houdini File is in progress - we'll post it on Saturday. In fact, we're going to change our regular press date to Saturday, like the great weeklies of yore.
Happy Birthday, Dad! And Happy Unbirthday to you, Mom!
